AmusementForce has personally visited this park, here is what we think:
"Aquaventure at Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas is an outdoor water park featuring pools and water slides"
Leap of Faith slide
The Leap of Faith slide will challenge you with a 60-foot near-vertical drop from the top of the Mayan Temple. This body slide gets you at high speed through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled tank.
Challenger Slide
The Challenger Slide is double wave water slide where you can go and race a friend down this high-speed splashdown. You can race each other down the Challenger Slides of the Mayan Temple, and then check your speeds on the clocks at the bottom to see who wins.
The Abyss
Beginning with a 50-foot near vertical drop through complete darkness within the Power Tower, this thrilling 200-foot-long body slide ends as you splash through waterfalls into The Cenote - a scary underground cave of prehistoric alligator gars and fish tanks all around you.
The Surge
Starting at the top of the 120-foot Power Tower, this inner tube ride features a camel back drop into a cavern, then it twists and turns downwards into white-water rapids caused by a flash flood.
The Drop
Commencing from inside the Power Tower, this single or double inner-tube rides begins with an big drop through darkness in an enclosed tube. Riders then encounter the open-air twists and turns of this slide before splashing down into The Current. More about the Current ride below.
Serpent Slide
On the five-story corkscrew Serpent Slide you will travel on a tube at high speeds through the darkness of the Mayan Temple's core. The twisting and turning ride culminates with a leisurely pass through an acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark tank.
The Falls
Accessible from the river by means of a conveyor belt that lifts riders into the Power Tower while still seated in your inner-tube, the slide then drops riders 58 feet to ground level before having you go through a water roller coaster of twisting tubes.
Jungle Slide
This slide is mostly for kids although adults can go as well. It's one thrilling safari slide through exotic jungles and caves built into the bottom of the Mayan Temple.
The Current
This is very fun going along through lush, caves, tropical foliage along a mile-long river in their inner tubes via water escalators, rolling waves and extreme rapids powered by master blaster. The waves and those other elements will make the current much more exciting than the Lazy River.
Lazy River
This is the place where you can get lazy and just sit on a tube (or as kids call it donut) and go around the river doing nothing. You and your family will enjoy this relaxing and scenic Lazy River Ride, located outside the beach. Sitting in inner tubes you slowly meander around a quarter-mile loop guided by a current through a tropical landscape.
